Srushti began preparing herself for her UPSC exam in her third year as a student in engineering. During her graduation, she questioned whether she would be content in the engineering role. Her goal became apparent when she shifted her focus to the civil job. Her parents encouraged her to be an official in the civil service and to pursue a career in public service. In only one and a quarter months she studied for engineering exams, and avoided all contact with people. Her belief is that focus and concentration are the key to pass the test to become a government official. She aimed to pass this test on her first attempt and put in a lot of effort.
